SikaTop -10 is a synthetic resin based on styrene-acrylic copolymers with mineral fillers, which is used as a primer and sealant used as a primer and adhesion promoter on mineral substrates, cementitious coatings and old ceramic coatings. USES :
- Sealing of mineral substrates
- Adhesion improver for mortars on porous substrates Porous substrates
- Gives the substrate a high degree of roughness, improving the installation and subsequent physical/chemical bonding of the final coating.
- Particularly suitable for use prior to levelling and decorating with SikaDecor Nature mortars
BENEFITS :
- Effective sealing of concrete surfaces
- Economic
- Prevents water loss in the substrate, bubble formation and improves adhesion.
- Excellent adhesion to porous and glassy substrates.
- Increases waterproofing
- Increases sustainability
- Resistant to the alkaline pH of the substrate
- Facilitates performance in the application of hydraulic plaster products.
- Hydraulic plaster products.
- Allows coating of prefabricated or low-absorbent concrete surfaces.

Chemical base: Styrene-acrylic copolymers with mineral fillers Storage: 12 months from date of manufacture in original, tightly closed, undamaged containers. Storage conditions: In dry conditions, at temperatures between +5°C and +25°C. Protect from frost. Density : ~ 1.32 kg/I (+20°C) Viscosity : ~ 13,770 mPas (+20°C, Brookfield S64, 20 rpm) Consumption : ~ 0.8 kg/m2/coat Some substrates require higher consumption than indicated. These figures are theoretical and do not take into account excess consumption due to highly porous substrates, surface profile and variations in level and wear. Ambient temperature : Min.
+10 °C, max. +30 °C The temperature during curing must not fall below the minimum temperature. Substrate temperature: Min. +10 °C, max. +30 °C The temperature during curing must not fall below the minimum temperature. Drying time The primer must be allowed to dry for at least 1 hour before applying the coating, or longer in case of low temperatures or high humidity. Times are approximate and may be affected by changes in environmental conditions, including temperature and relative humidity. environmental conditions, including temperature and relative humidity.
