APPLICATIONS :

Sika Boom®-S is used as a fixing, filling and insulation foam against noise, cold and draughts. As a sealant and insulator in joints around window and door frames, eyelets, holes for air conditioning systems, shutter drums. Fixes, fills and insulates against noise and cold in simple applications.

Chemical basis :

Single-component polyurethane that hardens with relative humidity.

Conservation :

9 months from the date of manufacture. Once opened, they can only be used within 4 weeks.

Storage conditions :

In its original, well-sealed and intact packaging. In a dry place away from the sun at temperatures between +5ºC and +25ºC. The can should be stored in an upright position.

Dimensional stability :

±10% (+23ºC/50% HR)

Operating temperature :

−30 °C à +80 °C (temporarily +100 °C)

Ambient temperature :

Optimum application temperature: +20 ºC
Permissible application temperature: +10 ºC min. / +30ºC max.

Relative air humidity :

Between 30% and 95%.

Supporting temperature :

Min -+5ºC/max +35ºC

Substrate moisture :

Optimum application temperature: +20ºC

Permissible application temperature: +10 ºC min. / +30ºC maximum

Curing time :

Fully cured after 12 hours (at +23 ºC/50% RH).

Cutting time :

~25 minutes. (à +23ºC/50% HR)

Dry to touch :

~10 minutes (à +23ºC/50% HR)

Consumption :

Consumption can be regulated by pressure and valve/adapter type.
Output: 750 ml aerosol can increases to 32 l (+/-3 l)
