Self-levelling mortar, based on epoxy resins, three components

Sikadur -42 SP is a high strength, three component mortar based on solvent free epoxy resins and specially graded fillers, to be applied by casting due to its fluidity and ease of application.

Very good adhesion to most building materials: concrete, mortar, stone, brick, fibre cement, steel, glass, polyester or epoxy resins.
Does not contain solvents.
Easy mixing, good flow and placement.

APPLICATIONS :

It is a high strength, non-shrinking material. It is suitable for :

Fixing bolts and anchors on horizontal surfaces.
Reinforcement anchors in concrete on horizontal surfaces (vertical drilling).
Filling under bearing plates on bridges or machine beds.
Filling large cracks and voids in concrete.

It has a high resistance at room temperature to chemical agents such as: diluted acids, bases, salts and brines, very pure water, waste water, oils and fuels.
It can be used on dry or slightly damp surfaces.
Does not need priming.

Pre-measured batches of 1.5 kg, 5 kg and 20 kg.

Component A: White paste
Component B: Dark grey paste
Component C: Light sand
Mixture A+B+C: Grey

Chemical basis :

Three component epoxy resin.

Conservation :

24 months from the date of manufacture in its original packaging

Storage conditions :

It should be kept in its original, well-sealed and undamaged packaging. In a dry, frost-free place, at temperatures between +5°C and +40°C

From fresh mixture approx. 1.9 kg/l.

80-90N/ ^mm2 . (EN 196/1)

Modulus of elasticity in compression :

19 000 N/mm2 ⁽ UNE EN ISO 527)

Flexural strength :

Tensile adhesion :

On concrete > 3 N/mm2 (concrete failure).
On steel > 17,5 N/mm2.

From 6 to 50 mm per layer

Pot life :

Approximately. 45-60 minutes. (at 20°C)

Consumption :

~ 1.9 kg per litre of mixture.
