Sika ThermoCoat -1/3 is a one-component, ready-to-mix hydraulic mortar. 3 functions 1 product :
- Gluing of insulation boards.
- Bonding of reinforcing mesh before surfacing
- Surfacing plaster After mixing with water, a mortar is obtained
- A grey thixotropic paste adhesive that is easy to spread and has very good adhesion to substrates and insulation boards.
USES :
Installation of thermal insulation panels on:
- Cement-based plaster
- Concrete
- Mortar
- Concrete blocks
- Brick
Gluing of insulating panels for :
- Installation of acoustic underlay
- Curtain walls
- Floor insulation in attics
- Interior walls
- Exterior walls in the ground or at the base
Bonding of fibreglass reinforcement allowing
- The production of a surface coating on polystyrene insulation as part of a thermal insulation system.
- Surfacing before the application of the waterproofing coating.
Note: Insulation boards must be suitable for the intended use.
BENEFITS :
- For bonding insulating panels made of expanded and extruded polystyrene, PU, cork, fibreglass, mineral wool and cellular glass.
- Good slip resistance.
- Very good adhesion to the following substrates: mortar, concrete, concrete blocks, cement-based plaster, bricks.
