SikaTop®-209 ES is a pre-dosed, two-component, flexible waterproofing mortar based on cement, selected aggregates and modified polymers.
- Low modulus of elasticity, thus achieving good flexibility, reducing the risk of cracking and improving the ability to fill shrinkage cracks and micro-cracks
- Waterproof and vapour permeable
- Suitable for both positive and negative pressure
APPLICATIONS: It can be used for waterproofing and surface protection coatings where flexibility is required to fill small cracks. Some of the most common places where it can be used are:
- Tanks, basins, canals or other elements intended to contain water, whether buried or notés
- Internal waterproofing of basements
- External waterproofing of buried walls
- Repair and protection of surfaces exposed to the action of ice and de-icing salts: bridge parapets, terrace and roof overhangs, cornices, etc.
- Protection of concrete structures in the marine environment
- Watertightness in contact with drinking water
BENEFITS :
- Low modulus of elasticity, thus achieving good flexibility, reducing the risk of cracking and improving the ability to fill shrinkage cracks and micro-cracks
- Waterproof and vapour permeable
- Suitable for both positive and negative pressure
- pre-dosed
- Excellent adhesion to sound substrates of concrete, mortar, stone, brick, etc.
- High resistance to ice and de-icing salts
- Slows the progression of carbonation
- Good crack bridging properties
