SikaTop Armatec-110 EpoCem in a three component solution. Cementitious coating with modified epoxy resins, three-component corrosion-inhibiting cementitious coating used for corrosion protection of concrete reinforcement and as a bonding coat. corrosion and as a bonding layer. SikaTop Armatec-110 EpoCem meets the requirements of the Chemicals Directive.

USES :

• Suitable for the control of anodic zones (Principle 11, method 11.1 of the UNE-EN 1504-9 standard).
• Suitable for the repair of reinforced concrete as corrosion protection of the reinforcement.
• Can be used as an adhesion bridge
• in concrete and mortar.

COLOUR :

• Mixed product: dark grey.
• Component A : white liquid
• Component B: colourless liquid.

Chemical basis :
Portland cement, epoxy resin, selected aggregates and additives.

Storage :
12 months from the date of manufacture in its original, well-sealed and undamaged containers, in a dry place and at temperatures between +5ºC and +25ºC.

Storage conditions :
Protect component C from moisture.

Density :
Density of fresh mortar: ~ 2.0 kg/l (at +23°C)

Adhesion under shear :
> 1.5 N/mm2 after 28 days (20ºC) (EN 1542)

Coefficient of thermal expansion :
~18 x 10-6 m/(m-ºC) (EN 1770)

Resistance to water vapour diffusion :
µH2O ~ 500

Resistance to carbon dioxide diffusion :

Consumption
As a primer
~1.5 to 2.0 kg/m2/mm, depending on the roughness of the substrate.

As an anti-corrosion coating :
~ 2.0 kg/m2 per coat (~ 1 mm thick).

In total, at least two layers are applied:
(~ 2 mm thick)

Ambient temperature :
Min. +5°C / Max. +30°C

Minimum substrate temperature :
+5°C / Maximum +30ºC

Lifetime of the mixture :
~ 3 hours (at +20°C)
