• SikaTard -930 blocks the hydration of cement.
• The effect of SikaTard -930 can be stopped immediately when Sika® Sigunit® is used as an accelerator. Thus, hydration of the previously stabilised shotcrete will begin immediately.
• SikaTard -930 does not contain chlorides or other corrosion-inducing materials. It can therefore be used in reinforced concrete construction without restriction.

USES :

• SikaTard -930 is mainly used with wet shotcrete where the hydration of the concrete is blocked for the necessary time. It is therefore possible to stabilise the mixed concrete for hours (or even days) in tunneling operations. Due to the stabilisation of the setting of the cement, the materials used in this way have long transport and storage times, without affecting their quality.
• When working at night, SikaTard -930 allows concrete or mortar to be made at the end of the day and avoids the mobilisation of a production station during the night.
